Hi. I am Donna.
Finally at a point in my life that I can say, “I am The Real Donna!” some of you know that that is not an easy mile marker to reach. Of course “life is not a destination”, so there is a lot more to come. But I am at a point in my life where I can embrace a true WYSIWYG philosophy.
What You See is What You Get.
I am in the middle of my life now, and as a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, friend, and nurse I strive to live authentically, in the moment, and FOR the moment. I have 4 children…sort of! Ok, I have two adult children 31 & 32 years old. My 31-year-old is autistic, and also suffers from some mental illness. I adopted her two children and they call me “mommy” as well. They are 10 & 7. The little guy (7 years old) is also autistic.
I have been a nurse for 20 + years, with the last 10 years being in hospice nursing. I am also about to launch my new career as a personal/transitional life coach.
My hope is that this blog will be a source of encouragement, joy and lots more! I have a plan, and at the moment that plan is to be very flexible as this part of my journey unfolds. I am excited.
I can be reached via the contact me page on this site, or by emailing me directly at: firstname.lastname@example.org
I hope you are having a great day!
